Sundays
We come together on Sundays to step back from the busyness and anxieties of life to bestow worth to our God. This weekly rhythm is unlike anything else: image-bearers of Christ, being together, showing each other who God is as we remember that only through him are we made new. Whether you are a seeker, skeptic, or believer we welcome you to join us Sunday.
Groups
We provide a variety of groups to cultivate both a relationship with God and others. These groups provide sanctuary from the pressures and anxieties of life in the city and facilitate the formation of new friendships. As God made us for community, we need others to help apply the gospel to our lives. We have groups that allow for people to gather outside of Sunday gatherings that are based on neighborhood, shared interests or hobbies, and life stage.

Care
We provide and participate in a variety of care opportunities to ensure your spiritual, mental, emotional and physical needs are met, so you are able to experience the fullness of God and his love for you. Through these initiatives, we seek to contribute to the building of a repentant and rejoicing community and express in practical ways Christ’s command to all believers to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Time
Sundays at 10:30 am (Doors open at 10 am)
Worship comes from the Old English word “worth-ship” — to bestow worth. We gather on Sundays to step back from the busyness and anxieties of life to bestow worth to our God. We collectively offer our praises, confessions and laments while learning through the reading and teaching of the Bible what it means to follow him. This weekly rhythm is unlike anything else: image-bearers of Christ, being together, showing each other who God is as we remember that only through him are we made new. Whether you are a seeker, skeptic, or believer, we welcome you to join us on Sunday.

Serve Opportunities
Serve at LSQ
Opportunities
Serving is a wonderful way to meet others in our church family while actively participating in our mission to “be a church not for ourselves, but for others.” Interested in serving? We need dedicated individuals to join the following service teams and ministries. For all questions, contact [email protected].

Brunch Bunch
Brunch Bunch is a clear expression of what it means to be a church not for ourselves but for others. It's a great opportunity to express self-sacrifice by stepping outside of one's comfort zone to engage, build and sustain conversations and relationships with others. Commitment: Once a month for two hours after service.
Coffee Club Host
Do you enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning? How about gathering others to share in the experience? Our desire is to offer more opportunities to connect within our church community during the week and Coffee Club hosts do just that! Help foster a warm and inviting atmosphere, allowing those who live near one another to meet and grow in friendship.

Coffee Hour Team
This team coordinates our post-service Coffee Hour. While the logistical needs are key, they’re rooted in a deeper goal to know and care for others. That said, the Coffee Hour team works in tandem with the Connections team, offering both friendship and assistance to visitors and those looking to find a place of meaningful connection at LSQ. Commitment: Once a month for thirty minutes before service and an hour after service.
Communion Team
Taking communion is both a physical reminder of Christ’s sacrifice for us and a celebration of God being present with us. Due to the unique nature of this integral part of our worship, servers must be formal members of LSQ. Commitment: Once a month on either the first or third Sunday for one hour before service, serving the elements during service and thirty minutes following the service.

CG Leader or Host
Are you interested in leading or do you want to open your home to host a Community Group (CG)? We are seeking those who exhibit a passion for God, a compassion for people and a teachable spirit. While prior experience in leading a small group is helpful, it is not a prerequisite. However, we do recommend having been an active participant in a CG for at least a year prior.
Connections Team
This team serves during Coffee Hour after service. Being on this team provides the unique opportunity to help people feel “at home” at LSQ by offering avenues of meaningful connection. The goal is to display genuine hospitality by providing helpful information, but more importantly to show that you care about the story and interests of others. Commitment: Once a month for thirty minutes before service and one hour after service.

Events Team
Do you love organizing and executing events? Are you creative and gifted in decorating? If so, this is the team for you. The Events Team has the opportunity to put together a variety of church-wide events and special projects within the calendar year that are essential for our fellowship as a family as well as our outreach to the community. Two of the big events are LSQ’s Christmas Party and Anniversary Sunday.
First Time Guests
Do you have a heart for visitors and first-time guests and would you enjoy seeking them out and welcoming them to LSQ? If so, the goal for this team is to create an incredible first impression and a personalized experience by assisting first-time guests from the moment they walk through our doors. Commitment: Once a month for thirty minutes before service and any additional time spent following up.

Linq Groups
Do you have a favorite hobby or interest and want to gather others to share in the fun? We believe the best way to reach those who are disconnected from the church is through existing relationships. Through a variety of cultural, educational, social and service-related activities, these groups seek to develop and strengthen relationships in an organic yet structured way, and their primary aim should be evangelistic in nature.
LSQ Kids
Our LSQ Kids ministry serves newborns through sixth graders. If you love holding babies, playing with preschoolers or engaging with elementary children, and want to help train them in a foundational gospel knowledge, we would love to have you serve in our ministry. Commitment: Once a month for 2.5 hours (serving the entire duration of the service).

Meals Ministry
Looking for a tangible and practical way to serve those in need within our church community? Help provide meals to individuals or families recovering from medical issues, personal crisis, loss or who just had a newborn baby. Whether you deliver a home-cooked meal, provide takeout or donate a gift card, this simple act of mercy demonstrates the love of Christ in a profound way.
Prayer Team
We know that God listens to the prayers of his people; and therefore, we bring all our praise, petition, confession of sin, and thanksgiving to him. The Prayer Team meets collectively for an hour before service to pray over the needs of our church, community and city. Commitment: The team meets every Sunday an hour before the start of service; thus participation can range from whenever possible (say, once a month) to more regularly.

Usher Team
This team plays a vital role in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for our church family and guests to worship free of distractions. It is an ideal team for those that are cool under pressure, comfortable being front and center, capable of balancing assertiveness with graciousness, and able to stand for the entirety of the service. Commitment: Once a month for 2 hours (with a break to sit and listen to the sermon).
Visual Arts Team
The arts play a big role in the life of our church, and we’d love to share that more throughout our ministries and activities. Are you a photographer, graphic designer, painter or any other type of visual artist? If so, we’d love to learn about your work and see how we can best dream up ways to collaborate. Think special bulletin covers, Christmas cards, event photos or installations during Coffee Hour.

Worship Arts Team
Do you have a heart for leading worship? Do you sing, play an instrument, or like to read aloud? We’d love for you to consider joining the team, which consists of scripture readers, song leaders, seasonal choir members and instrumentalists. Auditions are required. Commitment: Scripture Readers usually read once per quarter. For other worship opportunities, scheduling will be determined based on availability and need after auditions take place.

Groups
Groups are for
coffee lovers
Part of our mission is for members of the community to be known, loved and cared for, which is why we provide a variety of groups, to cultivate both a relationship with God and others. These groups provide sanctuary from the pressures and anxieties of life in the city and facilitate the formation of new friendships. CGs are places where we can be revitalized and strengthened. As God made us for community, we need others to help apply the gospel to our lives. We have additional groups that allow for people to gather outside of CGs that are based on neighborhood, shared interests or hobbies, and life stage.
