Anxiety and Parenting with Brian Walker, Director of Counselor Development, from Anchored Hope

To be human in a fallen world is to experience fear. We all live with an awareness of threats that are beyond our strength, wisdom, and resources. Because of rapid technological change, our children have a greater awareness of those threats than any previous generation. Many kids feel profoundly their lack of strength, and are overtaken with paralyzing anxiety. In this talk, Brian will examine the roots of fear & anxiety, the challenges of parenting children in an anxious age, and the hope we have in a Savior who draws near to the anxious. He will help us think biblically and practically about how to have honest conversations with our kids about anxiety, and walk with them toward gospel hope.
